Conservation Evaluation and Monitoring Activity (CEMA)
What is CEMA?
The Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) is offering a program that is set to "monitor and evaluate the selected area in order to determine the effects of prescribed grazing management on natural resource conditions and inform conservation planning decisions."
Who is doing the monitoring?
Qualified Individuals (QI's) will be the ones to complete CEMA. These QI's have to meet certain qualifications in order for them to carry out the program. To learn more about what is required, click here and scroll to "Qualified Individual Requirements."
How do I get started?
The best place to begin is to contact your local QI. We have provided a list of qualified individuals located throughout the state.
